OSU’s IT department had the unique opportunity to create their offices from the ground up in their very own brand-new building. Architects and designers planned directly with the department on their needs and we worked closely with each party to make their space home.
Their main work areas consist of two large rooms, divided by a well-furnished kitchen. For those areas, we chose low, modular workstations that are easy to rearrange as they grow. Each station is topped with glass partitions to take advantage of the large windows lining two sides of the building. It also comes with a built-in wardrobe to keep coats and bags from cluttering workspace and a storage pedestal that doubles as extra soft seating for casual conversations.
Several open collaboration areas and private meeting rooms can host presentations and brainstorming sessions of all shapes and sizes.
